Dates for 2014...
4,5,6 July - Scone Game Fair
28,29,30 November - Hopetoun House Christmas Fair

Shades of Tweed began in 2013 after Ginny exhibited in her local village art exhibition in the tiny picturesque village of Temple, Midlothian. She realised how much she enjoyed making the lampshades, the creative aspect, but also peoples’ reactions to her work. Ginny also takes commissions and can tailor the colours of fabric to your choice. All shades are made of British Tweed and some are Harris Tweed. They have a distinct Scottish feel finished with a brooch, ie, a stag or thistle and pheasant feathers. The lampshades are safety approved. Shades of Tweed regularly appears at craft fairs and is approved by 3D2D Craft Fair organisers.

Shades of Tweed have some new collections coming out soon:

  • Totally Tweed – this range features all over tweed with finishing touches of pheasant feathers and a brooch etc.
  • Touch of Tweed – this range has a plain tweed background with appliqué tweed. (144942)
  • Tots Tweed – the most colourful range featuring pastel colours for little ones. I can also do initials etc for a more personal touch. (144355)
